Super Sitter Seminar 2018

Friday, July 13, 2018 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, Check-In Begins at 8 am
This seminar has been developed for students ages 9-16, who want to become safe and responsible baby-sitters, and for those students who will begin staying at home by themselves in the near future.

Topics included are:
Fire Safety                               Infant Care                                       
First Aid                                   Handling Emergencies
Child Growth and Development
 
Presentations will be made by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District, Crystal City Fire Department, and a Mercy Woman/Child Department infant care nurse.

Each participant will receive  a Sitter Skills Book covering topics above, and much more. A seminar completion certificate will be included in back of book. A snack will be provided during the session.

Check-in begins in the hallway outside of Conference Room A at 8 a.m. Class is held from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Students should arrive as close to 8 a.m. as possible to allow time for check-in and to be in their seats by 8:30.  Parents are asked to bring their student(s) inside for check-in and to also come into the building to pick them up. Parents do not need to stay with their students for the seminar.

This is a very popular annual babysitting class and it fills up each year. Space is limited to 100 students, so please register early .
