Regional Physician Executive - Primary Care: Oklahoma
Dr. Alice Mankin serves as regional physician executive for primary care in Mercy’s Oklahoma region. She works with around 200 primary care physicians and advance practice providers at 28 clinics across the Sooner State. Her health care career began as an administrator in long-term care facilities for seniors where she worked for a decade. Her love of patients inspired her to go to medical school. Dr. Mankin joined Mercy as a primary care physician in 2011 and still sees patients as a family medicine physician at Mercy Clinic Primary Care – Edmond I-35 South.
Education and Credentials
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Mankin earned her medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Norman where she also completed her residency training. She also earned a bachelor’s in communication at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and a bachelor’s in management and human relations at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas.
