President, Mercy Washington and Lincoln Communities
Marie Moore, president of Mercy Washington and Lincoln communities, began her career with Mercy as a nurse tech at Mercy Hospital Springfield while earning her nursing degree. Continuing her education, she held nursing and operations leadership roles at Mercy Springfield, most recently serving as vice president and chief nursing officer.
From bedside nurse to leader, Moore originally planned to pursue her nurse practitioner degree but with the prompting of a hospital leader, she took some health administration courses and fell in love with the business side of health care.
Education and Credentials
Moore, a native of Branson, Missouri, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Health Care Administration degrees from Missouri State University.
