President, Women and Children
Dawn Martin serves as service line president of Women and Children across Mercy. She joined Mercy in January 2024 and brings a strong background in Catholic health care, having led surgery centers and outpatient facilities and establishing steering councils for key service lines. In this new role, Martin will collaborate with Mercy physicians, advanced practice providers and leaders across Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma to align, further develop, and enhance and expand women and children’s services.
Martin previously served as president and CEO of Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida, where she led a 586-bed hospital with an embedded children’s hospital and women’s care center.
Education and Credentials
Martin earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Anderson, Indiana.
