- Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) treats patients with prostate, head and neck, brain and many other cancers by focusing beams onto carefully targeted tumor cells without harming the surrounding healthy tissue.
- Image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) uses high resolution X-rays to pinpoint tumors seconds before treatment, automatically positioning the patient with millimeter accuracy, and tracks patient movement throughout the procedure.
- Respiratory Gating. This technology is used to ensure that lung tumors do not move out of the radiation field during breathing and to protect the heart during left sided breast cancer treatment.
- Stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy. This is a technique to treat certain tumors with only one to 5 treatment sessions.
- Convenient, dedicated CT scanner for treatment planning on-site, without an extra visit to the hospital.
