About Adam Jackson Angel, MD

Care Philosophy Science was always my favorite subject in school. And I’m certainly more of an extrovert than an introvert. I didn’t want a desk job sitting behind a computer. That’s why I came to internal medicine. Internal medicine covers the whole body. I’m pretty nerdy. I like to know what's going on in the body from head to toe. Thanks to my training, I can typically figure out what's going on and how to help that patient moving forward. My favorite part of the job is getting to know people and their families beyond their medical history. I love the continuity of care aspect of my job, building relationships with patients over many visits and interactions. I want to know about them from a medical standpoint, obviously, but also personally. Patients shouldn't be surprised if I ask what's going on in their lives, how their spouse is, their kids, even their pets. I want us to have a working relationship.

        Dr Adam Angel was awesome. He was very professional. He listened very attentively to everything I was discussing with him. I was sent to him by Mercy Hospital as my follow up doctor ...now I've decided to make him my primary physician. He seemed very knowledgeable and everything. I was asking himand I liked his personality very much.

        Dr Angel seems very committed to care of his patents. I enjoyed the attitude and lab was very pleasant as well which I've never enjoyed lab visit but did yesterday.

        The nurse was great and very empathetic. The doctor was just as pleasant. I can't thank them enough for helping diagnose my sickness.
