About Alexis Sielschott Levan, PA

Care Philosophy I've always been motivated to help others. I want to provide and make people feel better about themselves, both emotionally and physically. As a PA, I’m involved in patients’ health and I help them reach their goals. The best part about being a PA is building relationships with patients and getting to know them as people, not just their medical and health care backgrounds. I’m here to help them reach their goals and become the best version of themselves. I think the most important skill that a PA can have is communication, speaking and listening. We need to listen to our patients to get to the bottom of what's bothering them or what disease they have and then talk through how we're going to get through that so you can feel better in the long run. I’m excited to meet my new patients. I want them to know I’m I am here to help you; I understand what you're going through is difficult; and I want to help you get through it for the sake of your friends and family.

The front staff and the medical assistants are excellent. I felt like the physician assistant who I saw for the first time did not listen to what I was explaining about I knew that my test results would come back negative based on factors as I had just been in the office three weeks earlier and was prescribed a new medication. She insisted that I get this test even though we know that my insurance company was not going to cover it since I had it three weeks prior. I understand the need to ensure that I am healthy and able to have surgery. However, I do not feel like she listened to me as the patient. I will not be seeing her again.

My doctor made me feel seen & heard. I really appreciated her empathy towards me and collaborated with me on a treatment plan.
