Care Philosophy When a patient has a surgical issue, especially, those that are more urgent, it’s important for me to be able to articulate that surgical need, articulate the risks and benefits and to be able to gain that person’s trust to know that I will be taking care of them just like I would take care of anyone that I was related to, any of my family members, my mother, brother, or sister. That’s really the oath we took in medicine and in surgery specifically.
