About Amy Renee Cavner, APRN-CNP

Care Philosophy I chose to go into medicine because I have always enjoyed taking care of people. I chose the specialty of family medicine because it allows me to take care of the entire family. From infants to geriatrics, I enjoy the process of getting to know the families. I am passionate about providing health care to everyone, that is why I went into rural health care. I am motivated to provide the best care for my patients, and I want to treat others how I would want to be treated by a health care provider. I'm also really passionate about preventative care. If I can avoid giving you a medication by changing something as simple as lifestyle or diet, I would like to do that first. That is something that I like to endorse with my patients.
