About Anish James Thomas, MD

Care Philosophy I grew up in a small town in India. My father was a surgeon at an American mission hospital. I became fascinated with the heart at an early age. I think I saw my first open heart surgery as a child. As you grow up, going through medical school and residency, you get fascinated with the amount of technology and cardiac procedures and then as you start taking care of patients, you realize the impact it can make.

        Seemed like Dr. Thomas was in an extreme rush. He usually takes more time, but this visit he didn't explain my EKG results and didn't take time to talk/listen. He scheduled an echo but didn't explain the reason. Yes, I could have ask and probably received more info, but he seemed like it was no big thing. First time I was a bit disappointed in my visit.
