About Daniel Seung Han, MD

Care Philosophy I think I'm probably one of the few fluently speaking Korean doctors in town, and I've seen a lot of the area's Korean population become my patients recently. It's very exciting. I love to serve my community and the Korean-speaking population that needs medical attention, because a lot of times they can't speak English and they need a translator. But if I can speak Korean and help them out, or see them while I speak Korean, I think they appreciate that a lot.

Listening may be the most important attribute a doctor can have these days. Rehashing items from my last visit - which made it clear he wasn't listening then - wastes my time. He did not read the records HE MADE ME RETRIEVE from my last doctor and we wasted 5 of the 15 minutes he spent with me discussing that. I would suggest a lack of empathy as well. Maybe he had a bad day, but these primary care physicians are really just turning into referral specialists, aren't they? I know that's where your executives make their money, so I wasn't expecting much, but still ...
