Becoming a doctor takes nearly a decade of education plus years of ongoing training. Residency training is an important part of this process. Mercy residents train for three years in a family medicine setting. Residency training is intensive clinical training under the on-site supervision of experienced, board-certified family medicine physicians.

    She didn't believe me when I told her I had a sinus infection because my face didn't hurt when she pressed on it. She thought it was just allergies so she was reluctant to prescribe antibiotics. I told her it always takes the steroids along with the antibiotics to get rid of the infection but she didn't prescribe them. She also sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy. She sent them to Medisav but I us Greenwood Pharmacy. I have had allergies for 55 years and know the difference between them and an infection. She never looked in my nose to see if it was red or swollen so was guessing that I was having allergy problems.

    The nurse said she had not handled a newborn baby in a long time and had some difficulty. Would prefer someone with more experience.

    Dr Rushdi explained everything to me in a manner I could understand. She took her time to make sure I understood everything and all my questions were answered. She was very compassionate. I trust her with my care
