Care Philosophy In family medicine you get to take care of the whole family, from grandparents to toddlers and newborns. So I enjoy the challenge that comes with having a broad knowledge base. I'm also very passionate about treating diabetes and obesity. It's really rewarding to see my patients lose weight and improve their health.

        I was trying to make Dr Herwig my primary care physician? So far I'm very frustrated with this! Dr Herwig's office seems to think I have some say in this? I have contacted Medicare and they do not have her in the system. So I would say that Dr Herwig's office needs to get with Medicare and work this out! I can't do it.... I've tried 3 times and Medicare cannot find her in the system.

        A good doctor is hard to find. A great doctor is a blessing. Dr Herwig always pays attention. She answers every question even when I drown her in questions. She's never made me feel like a number or that she's in a hurry or taking too long with me. She's incredibly thorough, she doesn't miss a thing. I'm very pleased with this doctors office staff too. The sweet lady at check in is a extra treat. I like seeing happy people at work. It also helps that I've never sat in the waiting room for more than a few minutes. 10 out of 10.
