Care Philosophy I decided to go into medicine to help others and to challenge myself every day. I chose to specialize in general surgery because I love the variety of all the different surgeries and procedures you can do. I love being able to help my patients and seeing the impact you have had on their lives. I am most passionate about patient education and helping my patients understand their treatment plan and options. I want my patients to know that I am going to meet my patients where they are at and collaborate on the best outcome for you.

        They were all very nice and explained what I should expect. Again, so nice!

        I was seen in the ER, and the physician in the ER spoke to the surgeon who asked that I call and get an appt with him the next day. When I called for the appt with the surgeon, I was told I hadn't seen him in a couple of years, that I would have to get a referral, its would take several business days to process and the surgeon was unavailabe for weeks. Further, it didn't matter that they could tell I'd been seen in the ER and both doctors had discussed the problem the night before. When I asked to speak with someone in the office, I was told they could only send a message to staff, and could not guarantee anyone would call me back. Needlessly frustrating.
