Care Philosophy Being able to take care of a patient through all the stages of life is very rewarding and fulfilling. Family medicine gives you the opportunity to establish long-term relationships with patients, which is something I really enjoy. I'm most passionate about lifestyle and preventative medicine. I love talking to patients about diet and exercise, and that's something that I incorporate into my daily life.

        Man, I'm telling you from the time you walk in there, the people at the door, the counter people who check you in, the doctor himself, man, that's awesome. I mean, I love the place. I love the way they take the time to explain stuff to you. I love the time manner in which they get it done. They break it down and ask you if you have any questions, how they can even better serve you before you leave, how to set up for the next schedule appointment, everything. The place is classy. You know, it's a great place to have and I wish more facilities could be like that. It's a great place.

        Dr. Shipman was kind caring and recommended a trip to the heart hospital ER which was definitely needed. We appreciate his time and care. Glad to have him as our new caregiver.
