About Meggan Caroline Dempewolf, DO

Care Philosophy My grandpa and other family members of mine were doctors, and when I was young, I wanted to be a surgeon. And then of course, you grow up and realize it's not so simple. I tried pretty much everything else and still came back to medicine. I was drawn to the sciences. It's logical, but also has the aspect of interpersonal care. I love working and talking with people. The idea of merging those together, constantly learning and helping other people was a perfect fit for me. The most important skill a primary care doctor needs is communication. Doctors are well trained and educated and need to stay current on guidelines and therapeutic approaches, but making yourself someone patients trust and who they can talk to is the best way to find out what's going on. The main thing I want patients to know is that I really am here for you. It's my job to provide care in a way that applies to your life. That's how I see my job. I want to do the best I can for your health however I can.

        I saw Dr. Dempewolf and she was so kind and knowledgeable. We connected right away and I felt she truly cared about my health. My husband wants to join her patient list as well. I'm looking forward to working with her on my type 2 diabetes.

        My experience overall was really good with the exception of getting the initial appointment. It was really hard to get my information to the doctor's office itself as they do not have an email address and I had to go somewhere with a fax machine and spend money to fax my information over as a new patient. I don't think this will be an issue moving forward as now I'm an existing patient. Everything else was really great. I just wish there was an email address or something easier for any type of information sharing should I need to do that in the future.

        Yeah, so the everything was great about Meggan Dempewolf My doctor, it's the care team that needs some improvement with the way they put in messages. Things were missed and it caused a lot of frustration.
