Care Philosophy When I form a special bond with a patient, I can help them get through cancer treatment, achieve milestones and hold their hand when they need comfort. I will help guide my patients through their oncology journey, but I also want them to have a good quality of life.         Dr Salem has been warm compassionate and personable each time I have met with her. Especially with cancer it is so important to know that your doctor consider your well being a priority. So glad she is at Mercy

        Dr. Salem is an amazing oncologist. I transferred to Mercy totally because of her. However, the staff was just "ok". While they weren't unfriendly, they also weren't very friendly at all. Also, I needed labs done. No one told me that I would need to make an appointment for that. I waited for an hour and a half and finally left without getting labs done. I learned that appointments are taken before walk ins, and I was a walk in. The office staff could have informed me of this when I made my appointment.
