Information for New Graduate Nurses
How to Apply to Mercy’s Nurse Residency Program:
- Apply online at careers.mercy.net.
- For entry-level positions, search titles “Graduate Nurse” or “Registered Nurse.”
- You may apply for more than one position.
- In the education section of the application, please state that you have not graduated yet if you’re still in school, but please be sure to note your expected graduation date.
- Please allow 15–20 minutes for the application and another 20 minutes to complete the Talent Online Assessment.

If you’re looking for a residency in Oklahoma City to start your nursing career, please consider Mercy’s Nurse Residency Program.
This is a 12-month program designed to support our new graduates as they enter the workforce. We offer a comprehensive nurse residency program for all inpatient medical surgical units, intensive care units, labor and delivery, and NICU units.
Our Nurse Residency curriculum is evidence-based and focuses on developing confidence and acquiring skills within the first year. We provide a variety of educational opportunities to meet the learning needs of nurse residents. Our goal is to provide support and a solid foundation for nursing practice. Hands-on skills practice, documentation practice and simulation sessions are utilized to meet learners’ needs.
Additional topics and programming are provided for all nurses. Learning opportunities include bereavement training, legal aspects for nurses, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics yearly updates and how to thrive in the health care environment.
