SBJ Salutes Mercy Springfield’s Health Care Champions

Each year, the Springfield Business Journal (SBJ) pays tribute to the largest profession in the Springfield metro area. The “Health Care Champions” event was held Thursday, Nov. 17, and honored four Mercy co-workers.

The “Top Doctor” award was given to Dr. Rosellen Meystrik, a plastic surgeon with Mercy Clinic Plastic Surgery. “Top Nurse” was given to Theresa Witt, Mercy Springfield’s ventricular assist device (VAD) coordinator. “Top Technician” honors went to James Braun, who recently retired from Mercy Clinic Family Medicine – Nixa. And “Top Therapist” went to Ashlea Cardin, Mercy Kids occupational therapist.
