Mercy’s Integrated Marketing team is on a roll! They’ve recently taken home three prestigious awards for their outstanding advertising, intranet and website work.
- The television campaign, "Your Life is Our Life's Work," won an Emmy Award for Best Commercial Campaign at the Mid-America Emmy Awards. Mercy had a total of four Emmy nominations for three projects this year. Last year, Mercy won an Emmy for its 2015 Mercy Kids television campaign. The Emmy recognizes excellence in creative arts, broadcast and production.
- The way Mercy keeps co-workers connected also received kudos. Known as “Baggot Street” (named after the street on which Mercy’s founder began our mission), the internal website took top honors for “Best Intranet – Health System” in the eHealthCare Leadership Awards, beating out Carolinas HealthCare System and Novant Health. The eHealthCare Leadership Awards recognize the very best health care websites and digital communications.
- Mercy’s website, Mercy.net, took home the silver at the W³ Awards in the “Website Features Visual Appeal – Aesthetics” category. The W³ Awards honor creative excellence on the web, and recognize the people behind award-winning sites, marketing programs, social content, mobile site/apps and online video.
Mercy, named one of the top five large U.S. health systems in 2017 by Truven, an IBM Watson Health company, serves millions annually. Mercy includes 44 acute care and specialty (heart, children’s, orthopedic and rehab) hospitals, more than 700 physician practices and outpatient facilities, 40,000 co-workers and more than 2,000 Mercy Clinic physicians in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Mercy also has outreach ministries in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
