Mercy is again increasing access to health care as it teams up with GoHealth Urgent Care to open two new centers in the Oklahoma City metro area.
The new facilities located in Edmond and Nichols Hills will be open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Mercy-GoHealth in Nichols Hills is located at 1121 N.W. 63rd St. in Nichols Hills Plaza and the new Mercy-GoHealth in Edmond is located at 16325 N. May Ave.
“These new urgent care facilities were strategically placed in ideal locations close to where people live, work and play, offering health care where these communities need it most,” said Matt Wright, chief operating officer for Mercy Clinic. “Patients can quickly access the treatment they need and get back to doing what they love.”
There are now seven Mercy-GoHealth locations across the metro area.
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care offers convenient services for adults and children ages 6 months and older who need immediate care for non-life-threatening ailments like cold and flu symptoms, animal and insect bites, cuts and burns. The centers will also offer treatment for sports injuries, sprains and strains with lab services and mobile X-rays.
Online check-in and pre-registration are available to ensure that patients can access providers as quickly as possible and minimize time in the waiting room.
