Q. Did you always know you wanted to be a doctor/health care provider?
A. I have known I wanted to be a health care provider since I was in my early twenties. I was an X-ray tech and loved healthvcare but felt like I needed and wanted to do more for people. It was almost like a burning inside of me that I had to do this.
Q. What drew you to primary care?
A. I love helping people with just about anything so Family Practice has been a great fit. I really enjoy the variety and also getting to build long-term relationships with people.
Q. Why did you choose SWMO/SEK for your practice?
A. I grew up in this area and have family here so it just made sense to stay in the area. Also knowing that I am helping the community that has always served me is a bonus!
Q. What is your favorite thing about your job?
A. My patients are my favorite thing about my job. I really like building relationships and working together to come up with a long-term plan for people’s health care.
Q. What made you want to join Mercy?
A. Mercy’s mission correlates with my personal beliefs. I love working in an environment that supports my spiritual beliefs.
