Aaron Koehler, PA, has joined Mercy Convenient Care – Jackson. He began his career in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital Stoddard, when it was called Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County.

Aaron earned his bachelor's in biology with a pre-physician assistant focus from Southeast Missouri State University and his master’s in the physician assistant program at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. While studying for his undergraduate degree, Aaron worked as patient transporter and as an ambulance EMT.

A lifelong Cape Girardeau County resident, Aaron joins board-certified physician Dr. Bhavani Vaddey and skilled family nurse practitioners to provide quality same-day care for patients of all ages. Services include adult and pediatric care, treatment of sports or work injuries, school and sports physicals and more.

In his spare time, Koehler enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Renae Koehler, who works at Mercy Primary Care – 817 S Mount Auburn, and their two dogs, Huck and Leeloo. He also trains their horses, forges knives and axes in his blacksmith shop and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, back country camping and trail running.
