ARDMORE, Okla. – Breast cancer and other breast disease patients can get the specialized surgery they need without leaving south-central Oklahoma thanks to the new Mercy Clinic Breast Surgery - Ardmore and expanded appointment opportunities in Ada.
Dr. Valerie Jolly opened the new Ardmore clinic in early September and added appointments at Mercy Clinic General Surgery - Ada to include Tuesday and Wednesdays.
“It’s critically important for patients to be able to get the specialized care they need as close to home as possible,” said Dr. Jolly. “With the new breast surgery clinic and more opportunities to see patients in Ada, we’re going to be able to offer the residents of southern Oklahoma exceptional quality breast health care in their own community.”
Mercy Clinic Breast Surgery - Ardmore is at 731 12th Ave. NW, Suite 300, and schedules appointments on weekdays. Mercy Clinic General Surgery - Ada is at 435 N Monte Vista Street, with new openings for breast surgery patients on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Dr. Jolly specializes in breast cancer and benign breast disease. She works closely with oncologists and plastic surgeons to help patients and their families navigate a diagnosis, treatment plan and follow-up care.
Mercy offers a high-risk program for patients with a family history of breast cancer. Our risk assessment tool determines your lifetime risk level, and those with a risk of at least 20% may be eligible for more preventive care like annual breast MRIs, genetic testing and more frequent clinical exams.
Dr. Jolly, who grew up in southern Oklahoma, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
