Mercy Health Foundation Southeast will present its annual Christmas spectacular, “Sounds of the Season,” next month.
An annual tradition featuring musical and vocal talent, Sounds of the Season will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Discover Life Church, 254 S. Silver Springs Road, Cape Girardeau. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. with casual entertainment.
Some of the performers this year include:
- Casie Janet Blattner
- Dr. Andrew Moore
- Clayton Hahs
- Encore Dance Academy
- Brothers Walker
- Kate Broeckling
Celebrity emcees are KFVS12 television personalities Crystal Britt and Jeffrey Bullard.
The benefit, now in its 29th year, supports cancer patients in need through the Mercy Health Foundation Southeast Cancer Care Fund. The first Sounds of the Season concert was held in 1994 by Jerry Ford, a prominent local musician, businessman and former politician. Ford established the concert tradition after his brother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, driving a determination to honor both his brother and others affected by cancer.
Tickets are $10 each and are available at the door or at mercyhealthfoundation.net/southeast. Those who donate $150 or more will receive free tickets and recognition in the concert program. A variety of sponsorship levels are also available. Sponsorship must be received by Monday, Nov. 25, in order to receive recognition in the concert program.
Sounds of the Season will be broadcast on KFVS at the scheduled times below:
