WASHINGTON, Mo. - Marie Moore, president of Mercy Washington and Lincoln communities, was recently named by Becker’s Hospital Review to its “Rising Stars: Health Care Leaders Under 40” list.
The list recognizes bold and innovative professionals across the industry who are making health care more accessible, affordable and seamless for patients. According to Becker’s, these leaders share a common goal of transforming health care for the better and are poised to make a lasting impact within their organizations and the health care landscape as a whole.
Moore began her career with Mercy as a nurse tech at Mercy Hospital Springfield while earning her nursing degree. Over the past 15 years, she has advanced into numerous leadership roles, most recently serving as vice president and CNO, where she oversaw more than 2,000 nurses and achieved significant workforce growth and efficiency improvements.
In February 2025, she was appointed to her current role, where she now oversees three hospitals, one managed, with over 170 beds and $248 million in net patient revenue, as well as 66 physician practices.
