Mercy’s board-certified OB/GYNs, pediatricians and other specialists provide round-the-clock prenatal care, labor and birthing services, and postpartum care.
What Mercy Brings to Your Child’s Birth
As partners in your baby's birth, we respect your personal preferences and tailor your care to your needs. We’ve provided a birthing plan template to help you formulate your thoughts, share them with your care team and bring with you to the hospital when the big day arrives.

- Five private birthplace suites for labor, delivery and recovery in one room and convertible couches/recliners for your partner
- Specially designed low-lighting to create a calming environment
- A “team birth” philosophy that involves you and your partner as equal members of the care team and keeps you fully informed throughout every step of the process
- Ability to keep your baby with you the whole time, including during baby’s first bath
- Visitor policy determined by mom - no restrictions unless you request them
- The HUGS security system for extra protection of your little one
- IBCLC-certified lactation consultant in addition to nurses certified as breastfeeding specialists
- Level 2 nursery
- Full integration with all other Mercy facilities, including Mercy Hospital OKC, if the NICU is necessary
