Treatment for Allergy & Sinus

Mercy Clinic Ear, Nose and Throat offers comprehensive care for sinus and allergy-related problems. Our physicians are experienced in both medical and surgical management of sinus disease, including stereotactic image-guided sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty. 

Our allergy department is staffed by a knowledgeable and compassionate staff with years of experience in allergy. The department is overseen by a fellowship-trained ENT allergist. Additionally, multiple physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are trained to evaluate and treat allergy. We treat both environmental (inhalant) allergy as well as a food allergy. We currently offer:

  • in-office allergy testing
  • newly FDA approved sublingual grass and ragweed tablets
  • Immunotherapy, both subcutaneous injection shots as well as sublingual allergy drops

Sublingual allergy drops, a safe and effective treatment without shots. You place the drops under your tongue and can do so from the comfort of your own home. Allergy drops are safe and effective for people of all ages, including infants and children. You might also benefit from them if you:

  • Are afraid of needles
  • Have mold or food allergies
  • Have eczema
  • Have asthma
  • Have a chronic condition, such as sinusitis
  • Have multiple allergies including dust, pollen and animals

Inspire™ Sleep Apnea Therapy 

Inspire therapy is the only FDA-approved obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) therapy designed to work comfortably inside your body. A small, implanted device monitors your breathing while stimulating your airway muscles. This is a great option if you have moderate-to-severe OSA and struggle with a CPAP machine.
