Welcome to Mercy Family Center 

Mercy Family Center - Metairie is dedicated to the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents and adults across the Greater New Orleans area. Founded in 1992, our clinic strives to make mental health care accessible to all.

We serve thousands of families in our communities with a focus on evidence-based practices. Inspired by the compassionate mission of the Sisters of Mercy, our center treats families from all walks of life with dignity and respect.

Mercy Family Center Services

Mercy Family Center provides a wide range of mental health services for children, adolescents and adults, including:

  • Therapeutic services for individuals, families and groups
  • Psychiatric care, including evaluations and medication management
  • Private video sessions for convenient, secure access to care quickly

Once you complete the form, our team will reach out to you to schedule an appointment. If needed, we'll connect you with mental health providers in your community for additional support. 

Founded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Project Fleur-de-lis helps connect students with mental health services and resources. For more program information, visit their website.

To ensure we can appropriately meet the needs of each client, we carefully assess each situation through a thorough screening process. All prospective clients are required to complete an initial intake form before accessing any services.
