CME credit requirements:
- Educational content must target physicians (MD & DO) on improving their clinical competence
- Mercy Hospital St. Louis is accredited to offer AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)
- CME credit is only recorded and documented for Mercy Physicians (MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs)
- CME application needs to be submitted 6-8 Weeks prior to the activity
- CME requests need to be made at the beginning planning stages of the educational activity
- CME credit may not be given retroactively
- CME credit must not be advertised until it is approved by the CME department
- All planning for CME approved activities must be done independently of ineligible companies
- Mercy Hospital St. Louis is accredited by the KMA (Kentucky Medical Association)
The goal of the Mercy Hospital St. Louis CME Department is to educate our physicians in current Evidence Based Medicine to increase their competence, performance and patient outcomes.
