If you have a respiratory disease or you're struggling with long-lasting effects of COVID-19, Mercy can help. Thanks to our excellent pulmonary rehabilitation program and specialists, we're ready to meet you wherever you're at on your health care journey.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a medical program designed to help people with lung diseases breathe easier and live more freely. If you have certain long-term lung conditions, like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or pulmonary fibrosis, you could benefit from pulmonary rehab.
Our Phase II Pulmonary Rehab Program is designed to help you live more comfortably and function better at home. It follows guidelines set by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
Our respiratory therapists and fitness specialists work together to create specialized treatment plans for everyone we serve. These plans can last for up to 36 visits or 12 weeks, depending on your condition or illness.
At Mercy, we design all our treatment plans to your specific condition and circumstances. We take into account your personal health history, lifestyle behaviors and overall goals before starting any treatment. Our plans include:
