Rogers Inpatient Rehabilitation Services

Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers offers premier inpatient rehabilitation services in a dedicated acute rehabilitation unit. Benefits of inpatient acute rehabilitation at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas include: 

  • 24/7 physician medical coverage and rehabilitation RN nursing care 
  • Additional hours dedicated to comprehensive rehabilitation therapy than a traditional skilled nursing facility or sub-acute rehabilitation unit 
  • Specialized onsite services, such as skin and wound treatment as well as orthotic and prosthetic services
  • Immediate access to emergency care if needed 
  • No transfer to an outside facility for hospital diagnostic or ancillary services (which occurs in other rehabilitation settings) 
  • 24-hour pharmacy services 

Acute Rehab Patient Criteria

Our acute rehab hospital in Rogers, Arkansas is designed to assist patients who have recovered from the acute phase of an illness or injury but still need 24-hour physician management and nursing care in addition to rehabilitation services. Patients who may benefit from acute inpatient rehab services include the following:

  • Stroke and other neurological impairments 
  • Complex fracture 
  • Multi-injury accident 
  • Amputation 
  • Head injury 
  • Spinal cord Injury 

Patients with other disabling injuries or illnesses will be evaluated for admission to the inpatient rehabilitation unit to determine if the patient meets rehab admission criteria.
