Whether it’s a sudden life-changing diagnosis or event, or the loss of a loved one, trauma can affect each person in different and unexpected ways. Mercy’s experienced team has helped thousands of patients and families deal with trauma. We offer a safe space for everyone to express their grief and fears, as well as the spiritual resources to work through it all.
Our certified chaplains have completed professional Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and are qualified to provide a variety of services, including:

Mercy chaplains help guide people of all faiths through emotional and spiritual crises. In addition to a listening ear, an understanding heart and wise counsel, they provide resources for further counseling and support services both inside and outside our hospital.
