Mercy Therapy Services – Town and Country serves patients recovering from surgery, illness or injury. Whether you’re just out of the hospital, moving from inpatient to outpatient therapy, referred by a primary care physician or dealing with chronic disability, we can maximize your recovery and wellbeing.
Our highly trained staff offers consultation, evaluation and therapy for many conditions and injuries. We work closely with your physician to create a rehab program that helps you reach your greatest potential.
Specialized Multiple Sclerosis Therapy
Physical and occupational therapy has long been proven effective in improving the wellbeing of patients diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. We work closely with Mercy Neurologists to develop coordinated treatment plans.
Mercy Therapy Services is certified by the National MS Society as a Partner in MS Care. This distinction is achieved by only a few medical facilities that can adequately cover the breadth of services required to competently serve the needs of individuals with MS.
We are unique because we provide both neurological and orthopedic therapy services and are the only facility in St. Louis which offers a land-based MS Exercise Class. We have several physical therapists who are MS Certified Specialists by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers.
We also offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and driver’s evaluations and training. Our treatment sessions are one-on-one for 60 minutes with no overlap of patient care.
