Pastoral Care Volunteer Process
When accepted, you will attend the general orientation session that the hospital requires of all volunteers. You will then be scheduled to interview in the pastoral services department. If we have a pastoral volunteer position that is a good fit for you, we will orient you to pastoral services and, depending on your previous experience and your volunteer role, provide you specialized training regarding the various aspects of supporting our patients. You will also receive ongoing supervision and various opportunities for continuing education and growth in the caring ministries.
