Sports physicals, also known as pre-participation exams (PPE), might be required by your child's school before they are cleared for play. Unlike a normal physical, sports physicals are used to assess if your child is healthy enough to participate in sports as well as helping reduce the risk of future sports-related injuries. As always your Mercy provider is there to answer any questions or concerns you might have about your child's health.
Mercy doctors keep your child healthy so they don't miss a minute of their favorite sport.
Sports physicals are available to all school-age athletes (ages 10-18), contact your participating Mercy provider for an appointment.
