Heart & Vascular Services in Rogers

The expansion of our cardiology services in Northwest Arkansas includes open heart surgery, angioplasty, the first TAVR program in Northwest Arkansas, the Watchman device for aFib, care for heart rhythm abnormalities and additional state-of-the-art diagnostic testing. Our heart and vascular services in Rogers also include diagnostic catheterization procedures, non-invasive nuclear medicine echocardiogram heart studies, a cardiac rehabilitation program and a cardiac support group.

Coronary Artery Disease Detection

Through investment in technology, Mercy Northwest Arkansas can detect coronary artery disease through non-invasive testing. The process starts with a CT scan of the heart including the option for a one-beat, motion-free cardiac scan. Next, using artificial intelligence and computer-assisted design, a 3D, digital model of the heart is developed. The completed analysis is a color-coded, digital 3D model of the heart and arteries, reflecting the impact that blockages have on blood flow. The entire process of receiving this testing is conducted non-invasively.
