Care PhilosophyMy strategy for communicating with children is to get down on their level and try to relate to them individually - what their interests are, their hobbies, and just try to ease them before we do any kind of procedure or exam.

The is the first nurse practitioner we saw my child and I both thought she was rude and rushed us upon not answering a question about a further concern! I will not be seeing her again!!!!!

Just that I felt like we were rushed. The nurse practitioner was polite, but she spoke SO fast!

I love the team we have at Mercy. However, I had to wait 30 minutes on hold to speak with someone to set up a same day appointment. That is absolutely ridiculous wait time and can cause extra undue stress on families. There needs to be an option for same day appointments in the Mercy app or quicker response times for call in/same day appointments.
