About Michelle Lynn Coleman, MD

Care Philosophy What motivates me about being a pediatrician is the relationships I build with my patients and their families. When I look at my schedule each day, the first thing I look at is the name of the patient, not necessarily the complaint. I like to see which of my buddies are coming in to see me. I want my patients to know that when you come to see me, you will be heard and listened to. For me, practicing medicine is a team effort and joint decision-making process between myself and the parents. At the end of the visit, I want the family to clearly understand the plan and the backup plan if needed. Practicing medicine is not always a straight line, but I want my patients to know I will be there for them every step of the way.

        I think Miss Michelle Coleman did a wonderful job. The nurses that were there, they did a wonderful job. Registration was nice. I felt very welcomed. I just transferred from the I-35, Mercy, which I'm happy I left because they aren't very nice people. But this new Mercy on Santa Fe, I really appreciate you guys. I felt welcomed. We did it in a timely manner. My kids trusted you. I trusted you. Great job, Miss Michelle Coleman.

        The people were great, only negative was that all the chairs that we had to sit in appeared to be extremely dirty. Especially the chairs outside the lab.
