Mercy Health Careers Club

Interested in a Career in the Health Field?

The Mercy Health Careers Club is a monthly meet-and-greet with one of our health professionals willing to talk job opportunities, pay scales, typical work day schedules or any other topic you may wish to tackle. The meeting could include demonstrations or even a tour of the speaker's department. The club meets at 6 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month in the conference center on the second floor of Mercy Hopital Joplin, although occasionally we also meet at Mercy Hospital Carthage.

In addition, Mercy offers a shadowing program so students can get up close and experience careers they are interested in. This club is great for students interested in a health career as it exposes them to various occupations and gives them opportunities for leadership roles and experience that they can put on their resume.
