Parent/Child Classes

Mercy Kids Therapy Services offers a variety of interactive parent/child classes to support development through play and activities.

Tummy Time for Preemies (4-week series)

Connect with other parents and enjoy play time with your baby! In this group class, learn creative ways to engage your baby in fun tummy time activities that support motor development. Discussion will also include sleep, positioning, feeding and calming baby. This course is taught by pediatric physical therapists and is designed to address the special needs of you and your baby.

Tummy Time for Baby (4-week series)

Enjoy play time with your baby and connect with other new parents in this group class for baby and caregiver. Learn creative ways to engage your baby in fun tummy time activities that support motor development. Discussion will also include sleep, positioning, feeding and calming baby. This course is taught by pediatric physical therapists.

Tumble Tots (4-week series)

Learn ways to support development through creative play with your toddler. Activities encourage sensory, fine motor and gross motor skills in a fun and safe environment. Classes are taught by pediatric physical and occupational therapists in the Mercy Kids sensorimotor gym. This class is appropriate for both walking toddlers and those who are not yet walking.
