Mercy OB/GYN practices a full spectrum of obstetric care - from low- and high-risk pregnancies to gynecological care, from adolescence into menopause.

When you think labor is occurring, call your doctor:

If you feel you should leave for the hospital before your doctor returns your call, tell the exchange to notify your doctor that you are on your way and to WHICH hospital you are going. Upon arrival at the hospital, go directly to the Maternity Welcome Center at the front of the hospital. From there someone will escort you to the Labor and Delivery Department.
When you are in the early stages of labor, do not eat a heavy meal. Please do not hesitate to call for medical advice if you are unsure of what to do.
